We have carefully planned a transition that will give you and your children a calm and settled start to school life at Hounsome Fields Primary School.

Dates for 2026 TBC – Home Visits
Your child’s teacher and a learning support assistant will visit your child in their home environment. This is another opportunity for your child to bond with their teacher and gives you the opportunity to ask questions. These visits will be coordinated and sent out to you before the summer break.

TBC September 2026 – Reception Pupils’ First Day (From 8.15am-11.45am)

TBC September 2026 – Morning and Lunch (8.15am-1.30pm)

TBC September 2026 onwards – First Full Day (8.15am- 3pm)

From Monday TBC September - the children will attend full days.
